We have many ways for you to be actively involved in making our part-time faculty voices stronger and more effective. Working together, we negotiate stronger contracts and address issues facing faculty. The behind the scenes work is essential to our success as a group.
You can help us phone bank to get our message out. Past phone banks have included membership drives, healthcare petitions, and other issues facing our members. It wouldn't an institution without committees. But committees do get things done and if you have an area of expertise, your work may be invaluable. For example, any member can run for our contract bargaining committee. We are also involved in pro-active labor movement issues from campaigns, collective action and support for our fellow unions at various institutions.
Our elections are triennial (2020, 2023, 2026, 2029) and anyone can run. Our current leadership is posted here.
