If you teach as an adjunct at NYU you are required to pay union dues. Dues are 1.44 percent of your pay, and are only deducted when you are working. There is a one-time $50 initiation fee. The easiest way to pay dues is to join the union, and the quickest way to do that is to download, fill out, and return the card via e-mail
