Dear Part-Time Faculty Colleague,
Welcome to another semester of teaching at The New School, whether this is your first teaching assignment or you are a continuing part-time faculty member! Your part-time faculty union in ACT-UAW Local 7902 is made up of 1,800 of your colleagues teaching in five colleges across the University — that’s 87% of the teaching staff at The New School.
ACT-UAW Local 7902 is an amalgamated union representing NYU adjuncts, New School part-time faculty, student workers, and health services workers. Our union is member-led and democratic, and that’s why it’s important for you to get involved and make us stronger.
